Sea Wolf is an indie folk musician from California, United States. He was born Alex Brown Church and is the primary songwriter behind the project. Sea Wolf is credited to him as a solo artist, although he sometimes collaborates with other musicians while recording and performing live. Church released his debut album Leaves in the River in 2007 to critical and commercial success, with the singles "You're a Wolf" and "Middle Distance Runner" being widely popular. His other albums include White Water, White Bloom (2011) and Song Spells, No.1: Cedarsmoke (2014). Sea Wolf’s most recent album, Through A Dark Wood (2020) is his fourth studio album and was subsequently followed by a year-long tour worldwide. Sea Wolf is a unique artist that continues to make music inspired by folk traditions with a contemporary flair.
