Formed in 1997, the group has become one of Scotland's leading Celtic-rock bands, recording nine studio albums and touring internationally. With a mix of traditional and contemporary Celtic music, Skipinnish writes and performs original material as well as traditional Scottish and Irish songs. Their live shows are famous for their fiery arrangements and their energetic and passionate performances. With a number of award wins and nominations, including MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, Skipinnish has gained a wide-ranging fanbase in Scotland and beyond. Their popularity continues to grow, attracting dedicated audiences all over the world and they remain one of Scotland's most popular live bands.
