About Asking Alexandria

Asking Alexandria is an English rock band originating from York, England. They were founded in 2008 by lead guitarist Ben Bruce who also handles the lead vocals. The band blends the musical genres of metalcore, post-hardcore, and alternative rock to create a unique and popular sound. Asking Alexandria released their debut album, Stand Up and Scream, in 2009. It featured their most popular song, ‘The Final Episode (Let’s Change the Channel)’ which reached number 50 on the UK Rock Chart. The band has released six studio albums to date with their 6th album ‘Like a House on Fire’ being released in 2020. The genre-bending rock has propelled Asking Alexandria to fame and they have played sold-out shows throughout the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom.
