98 Degrees, often stylized as 98°, is an American boy band formed in Los Angeles in 1996. The group consists of four members: brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre, and Jeff Timmons. Unlike many of their contemporaries, 98 Degrees distinguished themselves by writing much of their own material and creating a signature sound that blended pop, soul, and R&B influences. They rose to fame with hits such as "Because of You," "I Do (Cherish You)," and "The Hardest Thing," and have sold over 10 million records worldwide. After a hiatus in the mid-2000s, the band reunited and continues to tour and release new music.
