Alex Gow is an Australian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Melbourne. He is best known for blending indie rock with folk & country music. His songs often explore everyday life, growing up, and the complexities of human relationships. Alex Gow has released four full-length albums and a handful of EPs since his start in 2011. His first album ‘The Bays’ was released to critical acclaim and landed him a spot on the Polaris Music Prize shortlist, solidifying him as a talented new artist. Subsequent albums ‘Growing Up & Other Stories’, ‘Landslide’ and ‘Marionette’ have seen Gow harness his knack for writing catchy yet meaningful stories with an array of instruments and vocal textures. Alongside his music career, Alex Gow also co-runs a small record label called ‘Lost and Lonesome’ with a focus on representing local Australian music.
