Anthony Callea is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician who rose to fame in 2004 when he competed in the second season of Australian Idol. His career began when he released his debut single, "The Prayer" which reached number 1 on the ARIA Charts in Australia, as well as number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. He has gone on to release four albums, several EPs, and over twenty singles, including his own versions of "The Prayer" and "Angels Brought Me Here." Over the years he has toured nationally across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, and recently concluded a tour in the United Kingdom that sold out multiple dates.
