Banda Maguey is a Mexican musical group from Sinaloa, formed in 1992 by twin brothers Armando and Miguel Toral. The group draws influences from Norteño, Duranguense, Mexican pop and English Pop and has produced several successful singles, including "Suéltate", "Debo Decirte" and "Mujer Enamorada". In addition to having a successful and long-running career in Mexico, Banda Maguey has gained international acclaim; they were nominated for a 2012 Latin Grammy Award for best Regional Mexican Music Album. The group is known for its energetic and powerful live performances, playing at many of Mexico's most popular venues. Banda Maguey has released nine studio albums since their formation, with their most recent effort being released in 2017.
