Black Dave is a NYC-based rapper and actor who has been in the hip hop scene for over ten years. The Bronx native was introduced to rap at a young age and started performing original music in New York City venues while in high school. Since then, his dynamic energy and vibrant sound have drawn critical acclaim from diverse hip hop influences, including the Beastie Boys and Diplo. He has released four projects: Mystery Hood Classics in 2011, The Rise Of A New Nation in 2012, Skate Life in 2015, and Stacked In The Back in 2016, and won Best Music Video at Street Knowledge Hip Hop Awards. Aside from his music career, he has been seen acting in multiple films and starring in his own web series, Black Dave Shines. He continues to make waves in hip hop, performing across the country and gaining fans worldwide.
