Brent Cobb is an American country music singer/songwriter from Ellaville, GA. He began releasing albums independently in 2008, but his big breakthrough came when acclaimed producer Dave Cobb signed him to his label, Low Country Sound, in 2016. Cobb's Dave-produced albums, Shine On Rainy Day (2016) and Providence Canyon (2018) were shocking successes, blending new production techniques and country-tinged folk-Americana. His music has explored lyrical themes of mortality, family, and southern identity, while his poetic and introspective songwriting vaulted him to fame. Since then, he has toured extensively across America and opened for the likes of Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell. He has also won Americana Music Awards and been nominated for the Grammy’s Best Americana Album.
