British Lion is a British hard rock band formed in 2011, by Iron Maiden vocalist Steve Harris. After Harris’s other musical efforts failed to reach the success of Iron Maiden, he decided to pursue a different sound and formed British Lion. The group released their debut album in 2012 and have since been active, performing at festivals and live events all around the world. The band released its second studio album, The Burning, in 2019. It features 14 tracks including lead single ‘The Burning’; a track that captures the classic hard rock sound of early Iron Maiden. British Lion pride themselves on their heavy riffs, soaring choruses and meaningful lyrics. They have had the privilege to perform alongside acts such as Iron Maiden, UFO, Thunder and Diamond Head.
