Buckethead is an American multi-instrumentalist and singer who has released over 300 studio albums since 1992. He is best known for his iconic costume which features an expressionless plastic mask and a KFC fried chicken bucket balanced on his head. Buckethead is known for his distinctive playing style, which incorporates elements of thrash metal, funk, blues, jazz, and avant-garde music. His guitar style often consists of complex, fast guitar solos and improvised riffs. He is also recognized for his unusual stage persona which includes not speaking or interacting with the audience. Buckethead has collaborated with many different musicians across a variety of genres including Isiah Pierce, Serj Tankian, and the Deli Creeps. He has performed with the widely popular rock band Guns N' Roses, and has also contributed to several movie soundtracks.
