CeCe Peniston is a renowned American singer and songwriter known for her chart-topping hits throughout the 1990s. She is best known for her singles "Finally" and "Keep On Walkin" which both hit number one on the Billboard Dance charts in 1992. Her eponymous debut album was released in 1992 and featured a variety of styles from New Jack Swing to soulful ballads. Throughout the 90's she released five further albums, experimenting with rock, hip hop, and euro beats. In 2008, she joined the cast of the musical play "Love/Life' which both toured and played in theaters around the United States. She continues to perform live and make new music, releasing her most recent single of soul-driven house music, "I Get Lonely" in 2019.
