Craig McLachlan is an Australian actor, singer and musician. He is best known for his work in Australian television soap operas. He began his career in the 1980s with roles in Neighbours, Home and Away and The Flying Doctors. He then starred in E Street, which was one of Five Network's most popular dramas when it aired. McLachlan also had a successful singing career in the 1990s and 2000s with top 20 singles in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He has also appeared in a number of films such as The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and To End All Wars. In 2017, he won the Helpmann Award for Best Male Actor in a Musical for his performance in the Australian musical adaptation of Rocky Horror Picture Show.
