Cults is an indie pop music duo hailing from New York City, formed in 2010 by vocalist Madeline Follin and guitarist Brian Oblivion. The two self-produced and released their self-titled debut album in 2011, which featured the hit single “Go Outside.” The song was part of a series of singles that has also included “You Know What I Mean” and “Bad Things.” Their follow-up album, “Static”, released in 2013, was co-produced with electro-pop producer Ben Allen. Cults' music has been featured on television programs such as The Vampire Diaries and Grey’s Anatomy. The duo has also received critical acclaim for their live performances and has performed at festivals like SXSW, Coachella and Glastonbury. Cults released their third studio album “Offering” in October 2017. The album is the duo's most introspective work yet
