David Ryan Harris is an American singer-songwriter who began making music in the early 90s. He started his career with the band Dave's True Story, in which he wrote and sang lead vocals. Harris then went solo and released multiple albums, including 1999's brilliant "The Luxury of Knowing," 2003's "Bicycle," and 2008's "Listening". He has also worked with a number of artists and bands, including John Mayer, India.Arie, and Carlos Santana. Recently, Harris also got involved in music production and wrote for Dayve Stewart's 2016 EP. Currently, he's been touring with Mayer and he just recently released a re-issue of his 2004 album entitled “The Long and the Short of It”.
