Dengue Dengue Dengue! is a dynamic music duo comprised of Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira. Hailing from Lima, Peru, their self-described sound is a mix of Latin American traditional music and digital cumbia. They became well known in Lima’s underground music scene during the latter 2000s. After earning a following for their remixes of traditional Andean rhythms, they released their breakout debut album La Alianza Profana in 2011 and their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Semillero, in 2015. Their style is highly influenced by ancestral sounds from Latin America while also embracing contemporary experimental approaches. They've toured extensively around the world, and played at some of the most prestigious international music festivals.
