Dog Pound is a hip hop duo from Middleton, Wisconsin consisting of rappers 2J and MP. Dog Pound has been in the rap game since 2007, releasing their first mix-tape titled Dog Days That Summer. After that, they released nine studio albums, including 2010′s There Goes the Party and 2017′s We Keep it Moving. Their music is a blend of rap, hip-hop, and trap music, featuring guest appearances from a variety of other artists. They have collaborated with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Birdman, AJ Hernz, and many others. Dog Pound has also achieved some success on the charts, with their song "Boomin' In Ya Trencher" reaching number 8 on the Billboard Top 100. They are a well-known act in the Midwest hip-hop sphere and have developed a strong fan base.
