About Drab Majesty
Drab Majesty is a Los Angeles-based music project, led by elusive singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Deb Demure. He blends elements of darkwave, dream pop, and post-punk into a unique synth-rock sound characterized by an ethereal, hazy atmosphere. His recordings generally feature minimal instrumentation and often center around slow, brooding rhythms. Demure often uses surreal, poetic visuals and mysticism-infused lyrics to create a mesmerizing, dream-like atmosphere. Drab Majesty has released three studio albums since 2015, all of which have been acclaimed by music critics and have seen considerable success. His latest release, 2020's The Possessor, continues to showcase Demure's innovative talents and enchanting sound.
