Durand Jones & the Indications is an American retro soul band originating from Bloomington, Indiana. Led by singer Durand Jones and drummer Aaron Frazer, the group has gained wide international attention for their sweet and soulful music, taking influence from 1960s and 1970s R&B, soul, and funk. Their self-titled 2016 debut album earned them much critical acclaim and furthered their career when they signed to American vintage soul label Dead Oceans in 2018. They released their follow-up album, American Love Call, in 2019. Along with their own works, the group has worked with renowned artists such as Leon Bridges and Booker T. Jones, and performed alongside country music star Eric Church and rap group Run the Jewels.
