Emmanuel is a Mexican singer/songwriter who incorporates elements from a variety of genres such as Latin pop, bolero, ranchera, and mambo. He has released several albums since the late 1980s, along with several top 10 singles throughout his career. He has a signature smooth, serenading vocal style, and has won numerous awards including six Latin Grammy Awards. His 1999 album Alas was the best-selling Latin pop album of the 2000s in Mexico and made him a star throughout Latin America. In addition to singing, Emmanuel has acted in several Mexican telenovelas as well as appeared in films. In 2015, he released his most recent studio album, Vive, which recieved positive reviews. He continues to tour and perform around the world to international acclaim.
