Eric Darius is an American Jazz-funk and Smooth Jazz saxophonphonist and composer. Growing up in St. Petersburg, Florida, Darius started playing saxophone at the age of eight. After receiving a scholarship, Darius attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying with some of the best musicians in the world. As an artist, Darius has had five chart-topping Smooth Jazz albums and multiple Billboard No. 1 radio hits, and he has frequently won both "Album of the Year" and "Song of the Year" awards from the National Smooth Jazz Awards. Additionally, he has collaborated on recordings with numerous top stars like R&B artist Joe, vocalist Ledisi, and Christian/Gospel saxophonist Kirk Whalum. With his vibrant and energetic live performances, Darius is able to captivate audiences around the world.
