Future Static is an American electronic music artist who started in the indie dance scene in 2008. After gaining a following on MySpace, his releases began to get more attention and he released his debut album "Moon Landing" in 2012. His sound was a mix of post-rock and IDM, combining the catchy melodies of his traditional songwriting background with wildly experimental and synthetic synth work. Since then, he has gone on to release three more albums, as well as various EPs, singles and remixes. His music has been featured on TV shows like The Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy and True Blood. In recent years, Future Static has put out several singles, collaborated with several major artists, and released a few new remixes in 2020. He continues to be a staple in the electronic music scene.
