Gary Lewis and the Playboys are an American pop and rock group formed in Pasadena, California, in 1964. Fronted by Gary Lewis, the son of comedian Jerry Lewis, the band quickly gained fame with their debut single "This Diamond Ring," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1965.
