George Clanton is an American producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and song writer formally known as Scene Scream. As George Clanton, he released his first full-length album, Mirror, in 2016. Since then, he has been active in the music industry, releasing a steady stream of singles, EPs, and albums. His signature sound blends electronic elements, dreamy instrumentals, and self-aware, autobiographical lyrics. Clanton is mainly associated with the vaporwave and bedroom pop genres. In March of 2020, Clanton released his sixth album Slide, which was awarded the Album Of The Week award by Pitchfork.
