Glasses Malone is an LA-based rapper from Watts, California. He is best known for his street-level rhymes and sounds that draw heavily from the g-funk and gangsta rap of the early 2000s. He rose to fame after the success of his first proper studio album, Beach Cruiser, in 2007. That album featured some of his biggest collaborations, such as Wyclef Jean, The Game, and Akon. Since then, he has continued to work with notable artists from various genres, including Jay Rock, Snoop Dogg, E-40, and Ty Dolla Sign. Glasses Malone has also released several mixtapes and EPs. Alongside his releases, he established his own independent label, known as Blu Division. He continues to create music and maintain a presence in the hip hop landscape.
