Good Charlotte is an American pop-punk rock band from Maryland, consisting of brothers Joel and Benji Madden, drummer Dean Butterworth and bassist/vocalist Paul Thomas. With thought provoking lyrics and catchy melodies Good Charlotte has solidified their reputation as one of the most successful pop punk bands of all time. They had their mainstream breakthrough in 2000 when they released their debut album “Good Charlotte”, which featured the hit singles “Little Things” and “Festival Song”. Their follow up album “The Young and the Hopeless” was even more successful, with hit singles such as “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” and “The Anthem”.
