Jamie Miller is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Raised in Chicago, Miller began performing in clubs around the city with his band, The People while still in high school. After touring the U.S. and Europe, Miller released his first studio album, Willing to Be Brave, in 2006. His single, "Young American Boy", from the album, was featured on several television shows and films. Over the years, Miller has continued to tour and release music, earning numerous accolades including a Grammy nomination for his 2011 studio album, Still. His most recent album, Glass House, was released in 2019. As well as his solo career, Miller is also a key member in the alternative rock band, The Starlings.
