Jax is an American pop singer and songwriter from New Jersey. She first gained recognition as a contestant on the 2015 season of American Idol. After making it to the top six on the show, Jax released her debut EP, Marisa, in 2016. She has since gone on to release two successful albums, Heads or Tales (2017) and Redemption (2018), which both peaked in the top 25 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. Jax has also achieved success with her single releases, with her hit song “La La Land” peaking at number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Alongside her successful solo career, she's part of the group Checkers & Rally with Ashley Hess and Tara Leevaron. She has toured extensively to promote her music, and has made many television appearances.
