Jenny Owen Youngs is an American indie-folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, New York. She has released four full-length albums and various EPs, often collaborating with other established artists such as Neko Case. Her songs have been featured in films, television and video games, and she is a prolific live performer, touring extensively with her band. She is known as both friendly and interactive with her fans, and for her creative and thoughtful lyrics. Her music often veers between lightness and darkness and has a wide range of emotion.
