Jeremy Jordan is an American actor and singer who first rose to fame in the early 2000s with a successful stint on Broadway. His big break came when he originated the role of Tony in the musical Newsies in 2012, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. He then transitioned into television, earning roles on NBC's Smash and The CW's Supergirl, and the short-lived family drama Blood & Oil. Jordan has also appeared in films such as Joyful Noise, The Last 5 Years, and The Hartman. He has also branched into singing, releasing a self-titled EP in 2013. His latest project is starring in the Netflix series Tall Girl.
