Kaitlin Butts is a singer-songwriter from NYC's Lower East Side who has been writing and performing for almost two decades. She grew up in a musical family, and has been influenced by performers including Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Her music is blend of jazz and folk, and tells stories about heartache, resilience, and life in a city. In 2018, Butts was chosen for the Sundance Music and Sound Design Lab, and her debut EP "Face It" was released later that year. In 2020, she released her follow-up EP "Those Words."[2] Butts' music has been featured on NPR, New York Magazine, Billboard, and other publications.
