Kiesza is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, known for her retro-futuristic dance-pop sound. She is best known for her 2014 international hit "Hideaway," which topped charts and was certified diamond in her native Canada. Kiesza began her career in 2010 as a backup dancer for Canadian rapper Drake, before releasing her debut EP, Hideaway, which earned her a triple platinum certification in the UK. She released her debut album, Sound of a Woman, in 2014, which featured singles such as "Giant in my Heart" and "No Enemiesz." She has also collaborated with artists such as Clean Bandit, Skrillex, Diplo and HAIM. In 2020, she released her second studio album, Crave, and co-wrote the 2019 hit "Don't Start Now" for Dua Lipa.
