Kim Mitchell is a Canadian musician, best known as a rock singer, songwriter and guitarist. Mitchell rose to fame in the 1980s as the frontman of the Canadian progressive rock band Max Webster, and has enjoyed subsequent success with his solo career. His best-known song is "Patio Lanterns". Mitchell has released several popular albums, including Shakin' Like a Human Being, Akimbo Alogo, Rockland, Aces Up, and Kimosable, and he has toured Canada and Europe throughout his career. He also hosts a popular radio show on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation called The Kim Mitchell Show. Mitchell has also become a well-known public speaker, performing at corporate events and other venues.
