Lawnmower Deth was an English thrash metal band formed in 1988, with members from the city of Nottingham. Their style blended classic thrash metal with humorous and satirical lyrics about mundane topics such as gardening and lawn mowing. Their most famous songs include "Ode To Joyriders" and "Más Fuerte Que El Viento". Influenced by bands such as Motorhead and The Exploited, Lawnmower Deth released three albums on the independent record label Earache before disbanding in 1998. They re-formed in 2009, and have toured regularly in the United Kingdom and Europe since then. They have also been featured in various video games, including Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
