Robert V. Gonzalez, also known as “Lil Rob”, is a Chicano rapper from San Diego, California. He began rapping in the early 90s and shortly after, released his first album titled Crazy Life in 1995. This album charted on the Billboard 200 and propelled Lil Rob into the public eye. Since then, he has released eight studio albums, all of which have peaked in the top 100 of the Billboard charts, making him a well respected figure in the Latin hip-hop genre. His music has been featured in several films, including the 2011 comedy Our Family Wedding. In recent years, he has begun to focus more time and energy on touring and performing, making appearances at festivals such as the Latin Hip-hop Festival SantAnna in 2019. Lil Rob is known for his crowd pleasing mic-skills and uplifting lyrics, making him an artist who's not to be missed live.
