Los Straitjackets are an American instrumental rock band founded in Nashville, TN in 1988. They often wear colorful luchador masks and matching wrestling outfits while performing, which has become a signature of their image. The band specialized in electric and surf rock, but also incorporate rockabilly, garage rock, and country. Over the years, Los Straitjackets have had various guest bassists and vocalists, including Neko Case, Danny Amis, and Paul Revere. The group released their debut album in 1994. Since then they have released 16 albums and various singles, and their music has been featured in films, television series, and video games. In 2019, Los Straitjackets released their 17th studio album titled Channel Surfing.
