Mantra is an Australian hip-hop artist and producer best known for his lyrical messages of resilience, reflection, and fighting for what you believe in. He has often worked with other big urban music producers, such as M-Phazes and frequent collaborator Elgusto, to create distinctly energetic beats to match his honest and meaningful lyrics. After starting his rap career in 2004, he has released two major albums: 'Meditation Space' in 2006 and 'Big Picture' in 2012. His work has won awards, including "Best Soul/R&B Release" at the 2006 J Award and two ARIA Music Awards in 2007, for Best Urban Release and Breakthrough Artist - Single. He continues to release singles, videos, and collaborate with other hip-hop acts on and off the stage. He has also become an integral part of the Australian hip-hop community, working with organizations such as the Street University to mentor and teach young people about music production.
