About Michigander

Michigander is an indie rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan headed by frontman Jason Singer. Their music is characterized by alternative rock vigor and melodic sonics, often revolving around themes of longing and heartache. The band has released three studio albums since their inception in 2016, with their 2019 release, ‘Let It Fly’, praised for its combination of indie and folk influences. Collaborations with renowned producers such as Tayven Jason have augmented their sound. They have toured extensively around the US and Europe including after-show sets for groups such as Lord Huron and The Head and the Heart. Michigander continues to make waves in the indie rock scene and seem poised to cement their place in the modern rock landscape.
