Nepathya is a popular Nepali folk music band from Nepal. Founded in 1991, the group consists of Amrit Gurung, Bhim Niroula, and Manoj Raj & Sanjeev Singh. They have released several albums, including Badal, Mero Desh, and Crore Pati. They have also received several honor awards, including the Makki Kaji Music Award for the Best Band in Nepal in 2001 and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Music Award in 2003. Nepathya is known for their pioneering efforts in blending traditional Nepali music with modern instruments and musical styles, such as rock and jazz. The group's sound has been heavily influential in the evolution of Nepali folk music, and has also gained them attention in the music industry internationally.
