Pender Street Steppers is an experimental electronic music duo made up of Canadian DJs, producers, and hosts Jack J and Liam Butler. Formed in Vancouver in 2012, the pair gained a following for their unique sound created from a variety of different musical elements. Blending elements of jazz, funk, techno, Afrobeat, traditional and modern electronic music, they created a signature sound that is both danceable and thought-provoking. Their first full length album, "Mountain of Love" was released in 2015. Since then, they have released several critically acclaimed extended plays, and have been featured on international radio programs and in magazines such as Resident Advisor. With their sound having elements of improvisation and a distinct vibe, Pender Street Steppers create a truly unique listening experience for their fans.
