Pete Yorn is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from New Jersey. He is best known for his 2001 Break Up album, a duet project with actress Scarlett Johansson, and for his successful solo career. Since his 2001 debut, Yorn has released nine studio albums, many of which included songs that landed in the top 100 of the Billboard Airplay and Adult Alternative Songs charts. He received additional critical praise for his work on the original musical score for the 2010 film, "The Extra Man." Most recently, Yorn released his 2018 album "ArrangingTime," which was met with critical acclaim. Yorn is currently on tour and has also written or cowritten songs for artists including Selena Gomez, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera.
