Pink Turns Blue is an Berlin-based post-punk/new wave band formed in the 1980s. The group is known for their blend of moody guitars, electronic drums, and haunting melodies which remain a staple of the genre. The group was founded by bassist/vocalist Mic Jogwer and drummer Tobi Krahl, along with the addition of guitarist Adrian Hates and bassist Christian Bormann in the late 80s. Since their inception the band released eight full-length albums, the first four of which were released on the legendary independent label Sense. The band’s albums, singles, and compilation appearances have earned them a dedicated and loyal fanbase throughout Europe and beyond. Pink Turns Blue have remained active, releasing new music as recently as 2020.
