Rod Coote tickets

Rod Coote is an Australian guitarist, composer and producer. He has been playing the guitar since he was ten and has developed a unique style of guitar playing, mixing classical and modern styles. He has played in several instrumental ensembles over the years such as the Melbourne Jazz Trio, The Jam Collective, and the Grey Ghost.

He has worked on albums with renowned artists from Australia and abroad, including Neil Finn and Ben Harper. In 2003, he released his first solo album, The Elements of Sound, to critical acclaim.

Rod has an impressive film and television composition career, with pieces including the Australian movie Magic in the Bank and a collaboration with Paul Cox for his movie Human Touch. He has composed the music for major campaigns for Telstra, McDonalds, and Apple.

In 2016, Rod released ‘On You’, his solo album which he described as representing ‘his sound, his life, his past and present’
