Somos was an American indie rock band formed in 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band quickly gained traction with their debut album, "Temple of Plenty," released in 2014, which showcased their melodic and emotive sound. Known for their poignant lyrics and dynamic instrumentation, Somos built a dedicated following in the punk and indie scenes. After releasing several albums and EPs, the band announced a hiatus, but their music continues to resonate with fans. Lead singer and bassist Michael Fiorentino's untimely passing in 2019 deeply affected the band and its community.
