Soulfly is an American metal band formed in 1997 by Sepultura frontman, Max Cavalera. The current members are comprised of Max, as well as Marc Rizzo (guitar), Mike Leon (bass), and Zyon Cavalera (drums). Soulfly mixes heavier metal style screams, hardcore punk-influenced riffs, and Brazilian percussion to create an original and unique sound. The band has released ten albums to date, all of which have been met with critical acclaim. Their track listing includes popular songs such as “Roots Bloody Roots” and “Eye For an Eye”, featuring guest artists such as Chino Moreno of Deftones and Corey Taylor of Slipknot. Soulfly continues to tour and bring its melodic metal sound to audiences around the world.
