Stars is a Canadian indie pop-rock band who formed in 2000, consisting of vocalists Torquil Campbell and Amy Millan, keyboardist Chris Seligman, and drummer Pat McGee. They are a critically-acclaimed band who have released 8 albums over the years, in addition to many EPs and singles. Stars have had various popular singles, including "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead" and "Take Me to the Riot". The band has gained a following due to their innovative sound and style - a mix of pop, electro-rock, and sophisticated lyrics. They have been recognized for their live shows, winning multiple awards and performing at festivals such as Coachella. Stars are still making music today, and have released their latest album, There Is No Love In Fluorescent Light in 2018.
