Stokely Carmichael (also known as Stokley Williams) is a Grammy-nominated American artist, best known as the lead singer of the iconic group Mint Condition. A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Stokley began his music career as a vocalist and drummer in R&B and funk bands during the early 1990s before eventually joining Mint Condition and achieving international success. As the lead singer of Mint Condition, Stokley produced numerous classic hit singles and six full-length albums.

In 2016, Stokley launched his solo career, releasing his debut album Introducing Stokley to critical acclaim. His follow-up album, 2018's Sankofa, earned him a Grammy nomination in the category of Best R&B Album. In addition to his successful solo career, Stokley also takes part in various charity projects such as the Heart of Gold foundation, and is a devoted family man.
