About Stretch

Stretch is an American rap artist, and The Executive Vice President of G-Unit Records whose career has spanned for over two decades since 1989. He rose to prominence after joining rap duo The Kidd Creole and a collaboration with L.L Cool J who sang "To da Break of Dawn" in 1991. He released his first mixtape "Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito: The Tape" in 1993. That same year, Stretch also created the world-renowned radio show the "Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show" where he regularly showcased up and coming hip hop talent, featured on WKCR 89.9's and eventually Hot 97 FM. In 2000, he released a solo album "The Preparedness" and a series of 12" records that were successful in Europe and the US. More recently, he has toured the US, Europe, and Australia and has collaborated with artists like The Beastie Boys, Snoop Dog, and Mario Winans.
