Strung Out is a punk rock band formed from Simi Valley, California in 1992. The original members were vocalist Jason Cruz, guitarists Jake Kiley and Jim cherry, bassist Rob Ramos, and drummer Adam Alastra. Strung out is known for having an intense DIY ethic sound which combines tight melodic guitar hooks, dual-vocal harmonies, and two-step punk rhythms.
Throughout their career, the band has released a total of nine studio albums - including their most popular album 'Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues' in 1996 - as well as two live albums and several EPs. Strung Out has earned a reputation for delivering contagious live shows filled with energy and emotion.
The band has toured and shared stages around the world with such acts as blink-182, Bad Religion and Pennywise. Since 2005, Strung Out has maintained a regular touring schedule, playing Vans Warped Tour and headlining their own club shows
