Suga Free is an American rapper and record producer from Pomona, California. Suga Free started out as an underground favorite, eventually gaining recognition for his raunchy and storytelling raps. His first album, Street Gospel, was released in 1997 on Priority Records and was a huge success in the West Coast Rap scene.

In 2000, he released his second album, Just Add Water, which was an even bigger hit and put him on the map nationally. He has since collaborated with artists such as Snoop Dogg, E-40, DJ Quik, Kurupt, and Suga Bear. In 2010, he released his third album titled The Resurrection, which featured production from legendary producers such as Dr. Dre.
